| SUMMARY | A subset of patients who die of cerebral malaria have a peculiar pathology with dense sequestration of parasite in the brain blood vessels but little end-organ pathology-these patients are also HIV infection. This proposal approaches the question of this interaction from a clinical and molecular view. |
